  Not as expected

  We received this violin and were not pleased. There appeared to be a sloppy glue job on the neck, touched up paint on the chin rest, and a crack by the F hole. We returned this violin for a refund, so we cannot say how it played. 1/5 David Dubois - See all my reviews, October 31, 2010

  I do not know a lot about violins. Thus, I can't tell you about how this violin sounds. This was the new violin and the violin came with some tint and stain on chinrest. There is also spilled glue stain inside the violin. Same product just without precise peg was $200 while this was $250.   misleading picture

  I've bought perfection pegs before. They work great. I bought these because the picture shows a different fancier head on the pegs. I called our local music store and was told these were not available from Knilling, that Knilling only sold them already on their violins.
