    Customer Review:
Nokia Neon 365 has very good phone.I read the negative reviews, but most reviews are positive, so I bought the phone. \It works great! Some people who write negative reviews of the products have not read the instructions, or just do not like something.I think that many people arent happy with something, but it is a good phonefor the price. And support for various AT immunopathogenetic is needed in the U.S., with people who understand English! Some companies have phone support to India or somewhere that does not happen with ATT.

BuyingLG Neon GT365 Prepaid GoPhone (AT&T) With Airtime Credit
Good in theory But NOT in practice
As a newly graduated college student I rely heavily on my phone for it is my only means of communication (aka I dont have a land line)and I found after a month of usage that when i would call people that they would be able to hear me but i would not be able to hear them. I also found that the phone would freeze up when sliding the keyboard out. i call the company and they sent me a new one and like clockwork the problem began to happen again and this time the new phone was not even in my possession a month. I highly recommend that you look for a different product.CheapLG Neon GT365 Prepaid GoPhone (AT&T) With Airtime Credit
    LG Neon GT365 (no-go)
I purchased the go phone version of this phone after my old phone died because I did not want to pay the -30 monthly rate increase for texting and data (which I do not use much) required for all better phones. This is an incredibly cheaply made device and I would check out the reviews for the non go phone version of the GT365 here on Amazon before proceeding (they are not as glowing.) For me I am kind of stuck with the phone, I need Bluetooth and only 2 go phones have it.
My complaints are:1. No way to sync with outlook. I think this is unbelievable in this day and time.2. The phone has many quirky problems. Example I left it to charge overnight and apparently it got Stuck in the charging cycle as in the morning the battery indicator was not showing completely charged (it does not have a charging indicator) but it was not charging either, so it required me to remove and reinsert the charger into the phone to continue charging. Also the Bluetooth started trying to pair with other LG devices at work even though the visible setting was off.3. The incoming sound is muffled.4. The design forces you to use a combination of front buttons and the keypad for some functions.5. Ringtones are locked down and AT&T seems to have dummied down the menus for many options.
    6. Recharge time is near 4 hours.just a phone
I previously had the Palm Centro and it broke on me. My contract isnt up, but I needed a phone that I could depend on. My husband suggested I get a good GoPhone. I went to Best Buy and purchased the LG Neon GT365 for 0. At first it was nice, but Ive started having problems after only a week. Apparently I text too fast causing it to freeze on me. I would have figured itd be a good texting phone, but I guess not. Also, I cant hear the phone ring when I am calling someone, even when I am in a flat area with full signal. Sometimes it even mutes the line the first 15 seconds or so. The problems are VERY annoying and frustrating, especially when Im trying to call my husband (hes in the army and currently out-of-state) or my mom (lives almost 1000 miles away). Im very disappointed that there are problems with the phone already, and I will go back to Best Buy if they become worse. Everything else works fine, but I really dont think its worth the price. I realize it is through amazon at the moment, but thats not available in my area.Decent phone, terrible shortcomings
At first glance, this phone isnt bad at all. The slide-out keyboard works nicely. The microSD card slot is useful. The touch screen, while limited, certainly adds a degree of usability. Its a proprietary connector for power, which is a let down, but thats not even my biggest complaint.
The biggest qualm I have with the phone is that half of the time, I cannot hear anyone on a phone call for a good thirty seconds. That means I have to consistently yell hello hello hello so people dont hang up thinking I pocket dialed them. Also, there is an occasional lag in input. This is troublesome if you are in a...

    BlackBerry Torch Review

  • Oct 01, 2010 from jonasvdc(Jonas von der Crone) in Technology
jonasvdc When we began our review of the BlackBerry Torch (aka the Bold 9800), our hearts were all aflutter. The leaked shots wed been seeing of some kind of Palm Pre-esque RIM slider were different and frankly weird enough to cause a kind of low hum gadget lust. Furthermore, although no one on the Engadget team was blown away by what the company had shown us in recent BlackBerry OS 6 demo videos, the promise of a substantially revamped UI and new, Webkit-powered browser certainly got us interested. Even if Research in Motion had been slipping on its once-unassailable smartphone game, there was a sentiment amongst the team that the opportunity for a return to innovative, industry-driving design was wide open for the Canadian company. So when we got our very own Torch to play with, we were understandably excited. A new OS, a new form-factor (completely new for RIM), and from what we could tell, a new outlook from the company about where it wanted to target this product: namely, the average consumer. A great story in the making, no? But its a fiercely competitive market out there, with devices like the EVO 4G, iPhone 4, and Galaxy S line all vying for the hearts, minds, and pocketbooks of the buyer. Can the BlackBerry Torch pick up where hugely successful models like the Curve and Bold have left off? Or is the new phone too little and too late in an industry where technology advances not by tiny step but leaps and bounds? Get the answer to that question and many, many more in the full Engadget review below!

The first thing youll notice about the Torch, obviously, is that it looks very much like the current crop of BlackBerry devices. Besides that fact that yes, it slides open, youre basically dealing with the same industrial design that weve come to know from RIM over the past two years or so. Sure, there are variations on a theme, but side-by-side with the Bold 9700, its obvious to see where Torch got its looks from.
The size and shape of the device is nearly identical to the 9700, and in fact, its dimensions (4.4-inches up and down by 2.4-inches across when closed) are within spitting distance of the simpler, portrait QWERTY model. The thickness differs by a tiny margin (the Torch is 0.57-inches thick, while the Bold is 0.56-inches), though for some reason it feels much more significant when holding the two in your hand. Compared to more streamlined devices like the Captivate or iPhone 4 well, it has a full keyboard, okay? The Torch keeps the familiar, metal-like (its plastic) bezel around the edges of the phone, looping around back just as with the Bold, though this time its split in two pieces due to the separate screen and keyboard portions of the phone. The front of the device is mostly taken up by the Torchs 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen (480 x 360, just like the Storm and Storm2), though youll find the familiar BlackBerry call, menu, back, and end buttons and optical trackpad just below the display. Along the right side of the phone is a 3.5mm headphone jack, volume rockers, and user-assignable convenience key (it defaults to the camera), while the left side houses only the Micro USB jack. Up top there are mute and lock buttons, while the phones 5 megapixel camera and LED flash sit in a familiar spot along the back of the phone.

As you should know by now, the screen slides up on a nearly invisible metal track to reveal a rather traditional BlackBerry QWERTY down below. The sliding action feels quite solid, though its got some resistance, and we did have trouble quickly popping it open with our thumb once in awhile. The width of the keyboard is about the same as the Bold 9700, but slightly narrower, and the keys are more depressed than previous devices in RIMs arsenal. Still, using the QWERTY was completely natural and our confidence while typing was nearly as high as it is when using the 9700. Nothing really compares to the spacious keyboard of the original Bold, but for a device packing a larger touchscreen, theres little compromise. It blows the Pres keyboard out of the water, for sure.

In all, we were impressed with the technical aspects of RIMs design here the company certainly built a solid, capable device from a hardware perspective. Still, one cant help but feel that the look of the Torch is woefully dated in comparison to some of the newer phones previously mentioned in this review. Next to the current crop of touchscreen-only devices (and even in comparison to the companys 9700), it looks old and bloated, strongly reminiscent of something like the iPAQ 110 and thats not a good thing. Theres nothing daring or lust-worthy about this design. When we first spied images of the Torch, the rumor was that the model we were seeing was an older prototype that had been discarded, and we kind of wish that had been true. From a design standpoint, its not enough to just iterate in the smartphone market youve got to ignite a buyers desire to own something on a visceral level, and the Torch misses the mark...
