    So tiny

    There is nothing wrong with these bags, but I stupidly spent more time looking at the advertised photo showing a dozen pretzels than I did at the actual size of the bag. Those pretzels have got to be itty bitty because I couldn't fit anything into them. I wanted to use them as party favor bags to include small balls of homemade playdough. Nope.     It took us 5-10 minutes to get one of these bags open. I was going to use them for cake pops/cake balls as favors for my son's first birthday, but we ended up only being able to open about 10 of these bags... after 15 minutes of trying.     Perfect for my homemade Brownie Pops!

    I already had several of these bags; I purchased them a few years back and they opened easily. I needed more for Valentine Brownie Pops, I was making for my Grandsons' classroom party, and picked up a new package at Hobby Lobby.I agree; the new bags aren't the easiest to open. Make sure to watch how you take the bags out of the package, because they are packaged with the open end up. Grasp the bag at the side edge, near the very top, between your thumb and index finger, and then rub your thumb and finger together until the top separates and opens.These bags give your homemade goodies that professional look. I could not believe how many Moms asked me where I bought the Brownie Pops; which were dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with Wilton's Micro Heart sprinkles. I put them in the bags and tied them closed with a red bow.     Not user friendly/bags are difficult to open

    I purchased this product for cake pops, besides it is small, It is extremely difficult to open each little bag, its frustating.     Ma and Ax do it again!

    At first I was hesitant to buy this set because of the price. But later I found out that it was well worth it. Their ability to basically control the instruments that they are playing is incredible. Most importantly is the feeling that they have put in to the Beethoven cello sonatas. I have noticed that of all the classical duos and trios that i have heard, Ma and Ax are the best. They seem to communicate well together while playing.     Beethoven: Complete Sonatas for Piano & Cello - The Best

    Yoyo Ma and Emanuel Ax have done it again! Beethoven himself would have been delighted. To hear these two magnificent, expert masters of music bring out the musical nuances of these five Sonatas was pure joy for me, as a cellist, especially the fifth one. Listening to it has helped me understand it better, and as a consequence, play it better. It never gets easier, but hearing these two delightful musicians has been an unquestionable help, besides pure joy. The technical aspects of the recording is top quality as well. I have other recordings of these pieces, but none as beautiful as this. About 2 years ago, I started dabbling into the world of amplifying a cello and using effects. When I started this journey, I used a Fishman C-100 cello pickup on my acoustic instrument. (I would strongly recommend this pickup for anyone wanting to keep the acoustic instrument for use of amplification. Be sure to buy an acoustic preamp like an L.R. Baggs.)For all you beginners, I must stress that you invest in an acoustic cello. This cello is not the type to learn on or anything like that.     You get what you paid for, which is a cheap electric cello.

    Background, I'm a beginner cello player, self taught but I had a year of violin and double bass in college. I made a project of a terrible eBay violin almost a decade ago and in the process learned to do a lot of my own repairs (replaced everything but the body and had a tolerable instrument at the end. Sadly, this is relevant to this review). Straight up: if you are not comfortable restringing your own instrument- this is not the instrument for you. Luckily it's not terribly difficult to learn to do via the Internet. This is a beginners instrument.I purchased a Cecilio cello (acoustic, not the lowest quality- but only one step up) several months ago and have really enjoyed it, so when I wanted to make an electric cello purchase it wasn't a hard decision to go with another Cecilio purchase.     My oldest son started playing the cello when he was 8 years old. He stuck with it and developed into a State Level Cellist by 8th grade. He has been asking for an electric cello ever since. We set goals, really high goals because what we found at the time was $800.00 or more. Going into his 11th grade year, he mentioned that he found an electric cello and asked if we would pay half if he saved up.He has been playing for 9 years and is a teaching assistant for level 1 and level 2 cello classes so he knows his instrument. I would not think this is a starter instrument, even though the price is low. We put the order in and within 30 minutes of receiving it, he had it put together and tuned. We did not have the problems other reviewers did with the fine tuners nor the pegs/peg box.Our son has been playing it just as often as his acoustic cello.     GREAT party TREAT bags!

    I purchased these bags directly from Amazon to use as TREAT BAGS for my son's B-DAY PARTY. I purchased them knowing that the TWIST TIES were NOT INCLUDED. This was not a problem for me, as they were cheaper than equivalent clear treat bags that included the twist ties. They are the PERFECT size and sturdy (as far as party-treat bags go ... none ripped while I was stuffing them). I was able put a couple small/tiny cheap toys and a handful of candy inside, as well as a small "thank you" note (with room left over). Because I had the personal "thank you" note so that it could be read from the outside, I chose to staple the bag closed (much faster!). It was EXACTLY what I needed.
